Come enjoy a trip into the history of farming in the Salmon River Valley.

The Annual General Meeting of the Salmon Arm Branch of the Okanagan Historical Society will be held Sunday, April 1 at 2 p.m. at the Seniors' Drop-in Centre located at 31 Hudson St. NE, Salmon Arm (across from the old Provincial Courthouse).  Guest speakers will be Ken and Heather McLeod, who will present photos and memories of both the McLeod and Garbutt families, and their long history in the farming community in the Salmon River Valley.  Find out how four Miller sisters are linked to almost all of the pioneer families in this area.  Potluck finger food, tea and coffee will be provided as refreshments. Everyone is welcome to attend this informative and enjoyable afternoon.  For further information, contact Mary Hickman at 250-832-4265.
