The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are West Kelowna-bound to do battle against the Warriors in Round 2 of their playoff series.
Their 4-1 win on April 12 marked the Silverbacks’ fourth victory in the six games of Round 1 versus the Merritt Centennials.
Round 2 pits the gorillas against the Warriors, who defeated the Cranbrook Bucks over seven games. The schedule for the teams’ second round has Games 1 and 2 at Royal LePage Place on April 19 and 20, Games 3 and 4 at Shaw Centre April 23 and 24. If needed, Game 5 will be in West Kelowna on April 26, back in Salmon Arm for Game 6 on April 27, followed by a return to Royal Lepage Place for Game 7 on April 30.
The Warriors finished regular season play at third place in the BCHL Interior Division with 77 points, followed by the Silverbacks with 71.
