All schools open Wednesday morning, buses running

To the dismay of some students, Wednesday will not be a snow day. All School District #83 schools will be open.

So far Wednesday morning, no problems are being encountered on the school bus routes. It was reportedly little hectic yesterday with poor road conditions due to the extreme snowfall but all buses got the kids home safely.

School district transportation manager Frank Marasco said on the backroads, which might not yet have been plowed, buses could be running a little late but, if the buses are more than 15 minutes late a call out will be done to the affected route to let people know.
