Woman, male youth found dead in Anglemont

The RCMP's South East District Major Crime Unit and Chase RCMP are currently on the scene of a suspicious death involving two people in Anglemont in the North Shuswap.

On April 30, at approximately 4:40 p.m., Chase RCMP were called to a residence in Anglemont, located 45 minutes east of Chase BC. Upon arrival, police located a deceased male youth and adult female.

RCMP have secured the residence as a crime scene.

The South East District Major Crime Unit, RCMP Forensic Identification Services and the BC Coroner's Service are on scene at this time.

We are in the very early stages of this investigation and investigators  are working to find out what happened inside the residence, stated Cst. Lesley Smith, North District Media Relations Officer.

The names of the two deceased are not being released at this time as the investigation is still ongoing.
