Nabbed after stolen meal

It was a dine and dash with a stolen getaway car. On Jan. 12, at 10 p.m., a man and woman failed to pay for their food bill at a local restaurant and were seen leaving in a silver station wagon.

The licence plate was given to police which revealed that the vehicle was stolen from Vancouver.

The vehicle was later located in the Blind Bay area. The two suspects were arrested and remain in police custody for property crimes. Both are from the Vancouver area.
