Fatal motorcycle crash

A head-on collision between a motorcycle and a F350 pickup truck resulted in the death of the motorcycle driver. The collision took place on Enderby Grindrod Road on May 11. The northbound motorcycle struck the southbound truck. Sixty-four-year-old Herman Gerrits of Enderby died at the scene. Police say he was a relatively new motorcycle driver. Passengers in the truck were not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
