Heavy rains forecast throughout the day

Environment Canada cautions that a slow- moving low is forecast to track through the Southern Interior beginning Wednesday morning. Heavy rain will move into the  region beginning early in the morning and continue through the rest of the day.

Generally, rainfall amounts of 10- to 20- mm are expected by Wednesday evening. However, embedded thunderstorms are also forecast to develop during the afternoon.

Due to the uncertain nature of the storm locations, some areas may see higher total rainfall amounts – possibly reaching 25 mm.
