As B.C. teachers go to the polls Monday and Tuesday to determine whether they will walk off the job completely, another round of one-day strikes has been set for the upcoming week.

Teachers will walk out and school will not be in session in the North Okanagan-Shuswap school district on Thursday, June 12.

This follows the previous two weeks of rotating strikes, on Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, May 27.

Parents are asked to make alternate arrangements for their children on that day and school buses will not be running.

The earliest teachers could walk off the job completely is Monday, June 16.
