Excessive speed

RCMP patrols in the Salmon River Road area resulted in two incidents where police located vehicles travelling at excessive speeds. In one instance, the vehicle was travelling in excess of 53 km/h over the posted speed limit of 80 km/h, which resulted in a seven-day impoundment of the vehicle. The drivers in both instances received violation tickets.
