Nomination packages for Chase election available

Election information for the Nov. 15 municipal election (nomination packages, important dates, FAQ, advertisements, voting and other election related topics) can be viewed at the Village of Chase website under Village Office, 2014 Election. Packages are also available at the office.

If you are interested in running for mayor or council, or you have questions about the material in the guide, which is accessible from the website, contact Tammi Pretty, chief election officer, or Joni Heinrich, deputy chief election officer at 250-679-3238 during business hours.

The nomination period runs from 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10.

Similarly, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District now has nomination packages available for the offices of electoral area directors for each of the TNRD’s 10 electoral areas.

Nomination packages are available for download from the TNRD website at www.tnrd.ca, or can be obtained at the Thompson-Nicola Regional District office, fourth floor, 465 Victoria St., in Kamloops during regular office hours. TNRD nomination packages are also available from the municipal offices in the Village of Chase.
