Highway obstructed by landslide near Canoe

Police are on scene to direct traffic around debris which blocked part of the eastbound lane

A small landslide interrupted traffic flow on the Trans-Canada Highway just east of Canoe at approximately 3 p.m. on Saturday April 8.

Debris from an adjacent slope slid onto the road, partially obstructing the eastbound lane.

RCMP are on scene to help divert traffic and flaggers have been dispatched.

The highway is not closed.
