Open house on downtown corridor this afternoon

For those people interested in what should be done to improve safety along the Trans-Canada Highway corridor through the downtown, stop by the Prestige Harbourfront Resort this afternoon.

An open house is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. today, Thursday, May 25.

Rob Niewenhuizen, the city’s director of engineering and public works, explains the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the City of Salmon Arm and ICBC will present a review of the 2013 traffic safety corridor study, complete with story boards.
