Work colleagues of a man found dead in Penticton on Monday described him as a great person with a wonderful sense of humour.
Dale Atkinson, 63, was found dead at a residence on Woodlands Drive. RCMP said they were called the house before 5 a.m. on June 12 and the woman that was in a relationship with him was taken into custody.
The following day RCMP, in consultation with Crown counsel, decided to release the woman with no charges and it was determined that public safety was not an issue in the matter.
Atkinson was a car salesman in Penticton.
