Police are investigating after a man was found dead in his home near Salmon Arm on Monday, although they do not believe the death to be suspicious.
The deceased is a 56-year-old man, whose name has not been released.
“Following the initial stages of the police investigation and a forensic examination of the scene on July 19, the death is not considered suspicious at this time,” says Sgt. Scott Lachapelle of the Salmon Arm RCMP detachment.
The RCMP South East District Major Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are also involved in the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
