The tight turns of Shoemaker Hill proved to be too much for a commercial truck.
The twisty road down the hill was opened as of 9:30 a.m. after a towing company removed the truck, which couldn’t make the turn.
Shoemaker Hill is the section of 10th Avenue SE that is closed in the winter below the intersection with 5th Street SE.
