They were open, briefly, and now they’re closed

The City of Salmon Arm reports that due to last night’s storm, Salmon Arm playing fields are closed until further notice. The decision was prompted by existing field conditions as well as forecasts of more rain. City staff state they will be reassessing conditions on Monday morning.

Shuswap Youth Soccer reports that all house games Saturday are now cancelled.

Select-level soccer games scheduled on Sunday will run at Shuswap Middle School Field, with the U12 girls jamboree running Sunday at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the South Broadview and Kings Christian School Fields.
