Suspicious death at Vernon apartment

Man found inside unit of aparment in 2900 block of 43rd Avenue Wednesday morning

Vernon RCMP officers are treating the death of an adult man Wednesday as suspicious in nature.

Officers were called to an apartment in the 2900 block of 43rd Avenue just after 11:30 a.m. On attendance, police confirmed an adult man was dead.

“Preliminary findings lead officers to believe his death is suspicious,” said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.

Uniformed officers, along with a police dog unit, are assisting the general investigation section.

As part of the case, investigators have been conducting neighbourhood inquiries.
