At approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 22, the Salmon Arm RCMP, along with emergency crews, attended to a single-vehicle accident in the 3700 block of Foothill Road.
A vehicle, driven by a 59-year-old Salmon Arm woman, left the roadway, going off road right and into the ditch where it narrowly missed a hydro pole and came to rest on its side.
The female driver and lone occupant was removed from the rear window and transported to Shuswap Lake General Hospital as a precaution. At the time, the driver was not complaining of any injuries.
