Eve passed away quietly at home August 22, 2009. Predeceased by husband Ernie in January 2002, she is survived by her eight children, 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Eve was born in New Westminster, B.C. and grew up in Burnaby where she met and married Ernie in 1945. Eve was a consummate homemaker creating a warm, loving and open home for her family through 27 years and countless moves while Ernie was in the Canadian Armed Forces. Their final move to Salmon Arm gave her a longed for home of her own, with doors that were always open to family and friends.
At Eve’s request their will be no service but a family gathering in her honour will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice may be made.
