Adrian Eugene Morneau was born on January 30, 1929 in Bonneville, Alberta, and quietly slipped away on June 30, 2009 in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Adrian was the 3rd oldest of nine children born to Joseph and Celina Morneau.

Adrian is survived by his loving wife Aileen, his three children Jennifer (Larry) Wikene, Richard (Pat) Morneau and Roxanne Morneau and his three step-children Sylvia (Paul) Arduini, Cathy (Barry) Nicherson and Chris Hardy. He also leaves ten grandchildren and 12 step-grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Adrian was pre-deceased by his first wife Agnes in 1992.

He spent 35 years working as a painter for West Fraser Mills on the Coast. During his years in the Lower Mainland he owned acreage in Surrey and Langley and moved to Magna Bay after his retirement.

Adrian loved Country & Western music, he played the guitar, and he passed his love of music onto his children who have great musical talents.

Adrian loved fishing at Clearwater Lake, his many happy camping trips on Adams Lake, and picking berries and wild mushrooms.

He met Aileen while playing bingo and he enjoyed a good game of cards, which provided many hours of fun. He took up curling after he moved to Chase and helping the Knights of Columbus with their many activities.

The funeral mass for Adrian was held at Blessed Sacrament Church, Saturday July 4, 2009 at 11am in Chase, British Columbia.

Adrian Morneau was a good and caring man and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
