Anne Marshall passed away suddenly at her residence in Salmon Arm, BC in the early hours of Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the age of 77 years.

A Celebration of life service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on Friday afternoon, June 4th, at 1 p.m. with Jack Bowers the funeral celebrant. A reception followed in the Mountainside room, allowing the family and friends to continue sharing memories.

Cremation with interment to follow in the family plot at Armstrong Cemetery.

Born in Lost River, Saskatchewan on March 18, 1933. Anne has been a resident of Salmon Arm since 1961, having formerly been a nurse for years at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, many of those years in the emergency department. The past few years Anne lived a quiet life, enjoying the love of her animals, gardening, and keeping her son supplied with baking.

Predeceased by a son, Jim in 1977, her husband, Richard George (Dick) Marshall in 1997, and several brothers and sisters, as she came from a family of 15 children.

Anne leaves her loving family, son Bob (and his good friend Marilyn LaPage) of Salmon Arm; 3 sisters, Wilhelmina Strijack of Kamloops, Lillian Hills and Lena Megar of Osoyoos, two brothers, Peter Roth of Osoyoos and Adam Roth of Winnipeg.

Memorial donations in memory of Anne may be sent to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation, PO Box 265, Salmon Arm, BC VIE 4N3.
