Bonnie Jean Mantie (aka Bonney M)

1967 – 2009

It is with great sadness our beloved Bonnie was tragically taken from us at the young age of 41, on January 22, 2009. Bonnie was born on October 27, 1967 to Gary and Phyllis Mantie in Biggar, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her father Gary Mantie and grandmother Lillian Hoppe. She leaves behind her mother Phyllis and her children Ashley (Shane), Brandon (Melissa) and her beautiful grandbabies Madison, Makayla  and Damion, sister Tami (Vince), Kyle and Merissa, sister Sherry (Jason) and Jamie Lea. Also left to mourn, grandpa Bill (Mabel) Hoppe of Biggar, Saskatchewan as well as her many uncles, aunts and cousins in Saskatchewan and Alberta and her many friends. Bonnie will be remembered most for her free spirited personality and her big heart, her love of travel and the outdoors. For everyone who knew her bubbly personality and loving smile, cherish all the good times shared with her and all the memories we have that will last forever in our hearts ~ she will be dearly missed by all.

A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., January 31st, this Saturday at Fishers Funeral Services, Salmon Arm B.C. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC, Box 1141, Salmon Arm, BC in honour of Bonnie and her father Gary.
