Clarence Wipfli passed away on the evening of June 16, 2010 at Hillside Village, his residence for the last year of his life.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bowers Funeral Home Chapel On Saturday June 26, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Chaplain William Kiesman officiating. A reception will follow in the mountainside room where family and friends can continue sharing memories.

Born in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, Clarence and his family immigrated to Canada in 1919 and spent their first year in Winnipeg, Manitoba before moving to Northern British Columbia in 1920. Finishing his formal schooling at the age of 15 Clarence, started his life long career in the logging and milling industry at Giscome B.C.

Clarence retired at the age of 63 and after spending 10 more years in the cold long winters, he moved to Sicamous, BC in 1982. Clarence was married three times and was pre-deceased by his wives Ruby, Charlotte and Wilhelmina and leaves behind many Stepchildren, Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
