Delbert Earnest (Ernie) Dexter, 82 years old, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2009 with his wife Laura by his side. Ernie was predeceased by his parents and one sister. He will be greatly missed by his children Sandra, Donna (Ken), Dorreen (Peter), Cindy (George), Cathy (Marc) and Gordon, his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sister Myrle and Pearl (Joe), sisters in law, and brothers in law.
A celebration of Ernie’s life was held at Fischer’s Funeral Services on Friday, November 6, 2009.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ernie’s name may be made to the Shuswap Lake General Hospital, c/o Shuswap Hospital Foundation, Box 265, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 4N3. The family would like to express their appreciation for the dedication of the Doctors and Nurses at Shuswap Lake General Hospital. Interment of cremated remains will be held in Saskatchewan at a later date.
