Ingrid slipped away peacefully at Hillside Village on April 10, 2010 at the age of 97 with her family by her side.

She was born in Inwood, Manitoba and moved to British Columbia where she was married in 1946. After many years in Kamloops, Ingrid and her family moved to Salmon Arm in 1967.

She was a tireless volunteer with her church and various senior’s organizations within the community. Ingrid will be forever missed by her sons; Ridley (Margaret) of Kamloops and Edward (Jacki) of Salmon Arm and her grandsons: Colin and Evan. She is also survived by one sister, Evelyn Pearson of Kenora, Ontario and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ridley (Red), her parents and four brothers.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillside Village for their care and kindness during the past few months.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 170 Shuswap Avenue in Salmon Arm. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
