Edythe Mae Harper (nee McNaughton)

September 1, 2010

HARPER-EDITHWEB

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Never giving up hope she finally decided, on her own terms, that it was time to move on.

Mae was born in Oshawa, Ontario, however lived most of her life in the Shuswap area. She enjoyed trips in her motorhome, gardening, singing and enjoyed videotaping her family and friends.

She was the most generous person to all who knew her, determined and hard working woman and no task was ever too much to handle.

Predeceased by her husband Malcom Harper, and grandaughter Lisa Howard, she leaves behind her daughter Gayla (Nick) and sons Daryl (Nancy), Tony (Tammy), grandchildren Matthew (Tania),

Brittny (Chris), Chelsea, Natasha, T.J., Terry, Christopher, Tynan and great grandchildren Kallie, Ayda, Emery and Elisa, and brother William (Fern) and of course her faithful pet Harley as well as many comforting friends and relatives.

The family and close friends would like to say a special Thank you! to all the Doctors, hospital nurses, community nurses and home-care staff in the Shuswap and Salmon Arm area for their kindness and caring treatment

Service will be held at Fischer’s Funeral Services on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Norm Russell officiating.
