Elizabeth “Betty” Ditcham, born on August 16, 1923 in Bo’ness Scotland, passed away on March 13, 2008 in Salmon Arm, BC at the age of 84 years.
Betty was predeceased by the love of her life, her first husband James Rennie in 1974, her second husband Gerald Ditcham in 2001, her brother Forbes Neill and her parents Elizabeth and John Neill in 1974. She now rejoices with her loved ones in heaven.
Betty is lovingly survived and will be missed by her daughter Beth and her husband Gordon Betty of Blind Bay, BC, granddaughters Laura (Evan) McLeod, of Edmonton, AB and Kirstie (Mike) Seifert of Kelowna and grandson Ryan (Lita) Wood of Ladysmith, BC, great grandchildren Meagan and John McLeod, Nicola and Amy Siefert and Kaelin Wood; brothers Charles Neill of Calgary, Gordon (Margaret) Neill of Calgary, Sandy (Judy) Neill of Florida and Jack Neill of Florida.
The family would like to thank the staff at Hillside Village for their care and compassion.
A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from the Shuswap Lake Estate Community Centre, Blind Bay, BC with Pastor Reuben Pauls officiating.
