Elizabeth passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital on August 18, 2010 at 86 years of age. She was born in Whitehaven, England. Elizabeth was endearingly known as “Bizzy, Speed, Liz and Nana” to those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Thomas, daughter Colleen (Louie) Cassman, grandson Braden Cassman, daughter in law Dianne Mullan, sister Agnes Westlake and brother Alan (Dolores) Fitzsimmons. She was predeceased by her son Thomas James in June of 2001.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth was held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Blind Bay with Father George LaGrange O.M.I. celebrant. Interment followed in Notch Hill Cemetery.
