JOHANNSON, Evelyn Janet passed away, after a long battle with cancer, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on February 24, 2008 at the age of 67 years.
Ev was born at Trail, BC on January 24, 1941 and had resided in the Shuswap area for the past eleven years. She enjoyed line dancing, gardening, golfing, fishing, travelling and her time spent in Arizona each winter.
Ev is survived by her husband, Ron; children, Lora (Bud) Brown of Sardis, BC, Judy (Rick) Devitt of Prince George, BC, and Carl (Lynn) Johannson of Arnprior, ON; three grandchildren, Cody, Jesse and Melody. Also surviving is her brother, Paul (Eileen) Dwillies.
A funeral service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., with Jack Bowers officiating.
