It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Frank Ellix on Aug. 7, 2008 at the age of 82 years.

Frank is mourned by his loving wife of 47 ½ years, Stephanie; his daughter Jane Shirley and her husband Brad and their two sons Brandon and Devon; his daughter Ann Lotwin and her husband Jim and his son Murray Ellix and his girlfriend Amanda; his son Arthur Ellix and his fiancé Melissa and their son Eric; his brother Troi Caldwell and his wife Shirley and Troi’s son Adrian; his niece Sara Stack and her family in England as well as many, many friends.

We would like to acknowledge and thank the S.A. Ambulance Service, Shuswap Hospital and Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, all of whom helped make Frank as comfortable as possible and whose kindness and compassion are so appreciated.

Frank leaves a legacy of honor, hard work, integrity, generosity and love. He also leaves the world a better place for having been here. He will be missed always.

A memorial service was held on August 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. from St. John’s Anglican Church with Rev. Lou Rivers officiating.
