Born and raised in Quebec, he joined the Canadian Army in 1957 which took him on a tour to Germany, where then he met his wife Edith, they married and started a family. In 1962 he returned with his family to Quebec when shortly after he had to make a decision between the love for his country or the love for his family, he choose his family and left the Military with honors, and returned with his wife and two children to Germany, which became his home for more then 30 years. Adding five more children to the family, he worked as a chemist, and travelled the world where his professional work ethic was well respected. His knowledge then brought him and his wife in 1992 to Salmon Arm where he worked until the last day before he past away. Besides work and family, Raymond played ice hockey in the Military, and he was in the target shooting club in Germany. In his later years he took on golf, which as in everything else in his life he mastered. Raymond was never a man of many words, he lived his life to the fullest, and was taken from us to soon, he is Missed and Loved by his Family Forever.
