Helen Arnott passed away peacefully at Hillside Village, Salmon Arm, BC on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the age of 102 years.
Helen was born on July 11, 1907 in Glenorque Parish of Gargunnock, County of Stirling, Scotland. She had worked as a nurse for 40 years and lived independently until she was 100 years old. She had resided in the Shuswap for the past 30 years, where she enjoyed life to the fullest.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by her two nieces, Joan Harkness of Burnaby and Marilyn Taylor of Kelowna. Also surviving are numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
As per Helen’s request, there will be no formal funeral service.
