George Henry passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2008 in Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC at the age of 69 years.
George was predeceased by his son Bill, grandson BJ, ex-wife Gayle and his life companion Thelma Browne. He is survived by his three children Wes (Bev), Bob (Sherri) and Donna (Graeme) Burns, grandchildren Dusty, Mike, Lacey, Billy, Shelby, Caelan and Delaney, sister Pat (Lloyd) Jones and Thelma’s five children, Greg, Janice, Kim, Teresa and Bruce along with their families.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from Fischer’s Funeral Services with Pastor Colleen Rempel officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George’s name may be made to the Salmon Arm Rescue Unit, c/o Tim Alstad, Unit 580 – 14th Street NE, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 2S5, info@saru.ca.
