FRIESEN, Irene Anne (Ohlhauser) on December 2nd, 2007 in Shuswap Lake General Hospital at the age of 66 years. She was predeceased by her 2nd husband Roy Gordon Ohlhauser and her parents. Irene is survived by four children; Kim (Bill) Fowler, Debora (Peter) Ross, Terri (Garth) Hall, Roger (Tammy) Lowen, grandchildren; Mathew, Noel, Cara, Darcy, Kasia, Kristin, Daylon, Braydon, siblings; Bob (Donnie), AB, Leona (Lionel) Lavoie, MB, Alvina Greter, AB, Hartley (Joeann), MB, Cathy (Robert) Stien, AB as well as nine nieces and nephews.
Irene was known as “Mom” until the grandchildren came along, then “Nan” by ALL who knew her. Nana had the biggest heart and “giving of her heart” quality that we have ever know and will be missed by every person that had the pleasure of her sunshine in their lives. Irene’s favourite pastimes were bingo, gardening and reading.
A celebration of life service was held on Thursday, Dec. 6th, 2007 at Fischer’s Funeral Services with Pastor Norm Russell officiating.
