Jack Marshall Svendsen passed away at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC on Monday, August 10, 2009 at the age of 82 years.
Jack was born at New Westminster on September 15, 1926 and had been a resident of Salmon Arm for the past eight years.
Jack was predeceased by his wife, Jean in January, 2009 and daughter, Cheryl in 1959. He will be lovingly remembered by his son, George Svendsen and his wife, Maureen and granddaughters, Donna and Dianna. Also surviving is his sister, Margaret Trout and her husband, Allan of Bashaw, AB
A funeral service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home on Saturday, August 15th at 10:00 am with Reverend George Fleming officiating. Interment followed in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey, BC.
If so desired, contributions in memory of Jack may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation or the B.C. Children’s Hospital.
