James Butler Mary Kavanagh born April 16, 1919 in Bathurst, Australia passed away January 18, 2009 kin Salmon Arm, BC. Jim is survived by: his sister, Loretto Kavanagh; his wife, Ellen Kavanagh; his daughters, Moya Kavanagh, Liz Demens and Kathy Schretlen; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Vera Kavanagh (Gear). We are forever grateful to the staff of Shuswap Lodge and Hillside Village who made Jim’s last year and final days comfortable.
