Jessie Estella Anderson (nee Widel) of Salmon Arm, BC, passed away peacefully at Bastion Place on February 22, 2008, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Jessie was predeceased by her parents at a very early age, her son Carl Anderson, sisters Katherine Freeborn, Rose Olsen and Ruth Caron. Jessie leaves to mourn her three sons, David Anderson of Quebec, Scott Anderson of Vancouver, BC and Doug (Gail) Anderson of Revelstoke, BC as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jessie’s favorite memory was when she met and was blessed by the Pope. She will always be remembered as an Avid Gardener and sports fan. She enjoyed playing the piano and was active in the church choir.

A Service of Christian Burial with Eucharist will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 90-1st Street SE, Salmon Arm at 1:00 p.m. on Friday February 29, 2008 with Fr. George LaGrange, omi., Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Ida Cemetery.
