Passed away peacefully at The Good Samaritan-Hillside Village in Salmon Arm BC at the age of 80 years.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Doris Rosalie Ingram of Salmon Arm BC, sons, John Ingram (Joanne) of Surrey BC and Alan Ingram (Patty)of Kelowna BC, his daughters, Sharon Hind-Smith (Patrick) of Novato, California and Colleen Ingram of Salmon Arm BC, his brother in-law Laurence (Larry) Whyte of Cobble Hill BC, his Grandchildren Kelly, Julia, Ryan, Shaylene, his step daughter Arlene Cromarty and family of Hughendon, Alta, extended family in Australia and all of his friends.

Predeceased by his father John, his mother Florence and sister Pamela.

John grew up in NSW, Australia and traveled the world by ship before immigrating to Canada (Vancouver BC) in 1952 where he worked as a machinist until his retirement in 1992.

He loved working in his workshop at home, having a beer with friends, had a great love for animals, especially birds, and was an avid reader of war history. He had a great sense of humour, always the prankster.

A special Thank You to the staff at Hillside Village and Dr. Angela Plessis for the great care he received.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Vancouver BC.
