EDWARDS, JOHN ROBERT

John passed away peacefully in Bastion Place with his family by his side.
He is survived by Vera, his loving wife of 68 years, two sons, Ian (Karon) of Blind Bay and Trevor of Salmon Arm, one daughter Rita (John) of Parksville, six grandsons and four great grandchildren.
John, a World War II veteran, was born in London, England. He brought his family to Canada in 1957 and lived and worked in various communities in BC. He and Vera retired to Salmon Arm in 1981 where they enjoyed golfing and going for long scenic drives.
Thank you to the caring staff at Shuswap Lodge, Kelly and the many community health care workers, Dr. Breugem, Shuswap Lake General Hospital and the caring staff at Bastion Place.
