It is with great sadness that we announce Karins passing on April 13 – 2010 at her family home in Blind Bay with her family at her side.
She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Cliff Schwabe on May 18-2009
She is survived by her Mother Mrs. Adel Schwabe , her brother Mr. Bruce Schwabe, her husband Darcy, two sons Kent (Paula) Brenen (Charity) four grandchildren; Breena (Kent & Paula) Ashlie, Madisin, and Toree, (Brenen & Charity)
Karin put her whole lifes energy into the well being of her family in every way.
Relationships were the most important thing in Karins life.This was so evident by the Grace and unconditional love that flowed from her heart in selfless expressions of love.
Karin believed that the most beautiful and empowering thing you can ever do for another person is to encourage and uplift their spirit. This was a gift Karin had and did so naturally as it flowed from her heart .
It has been said that some folks live a long life and love little. While others live a short life but give a lifetime of love. This was our Karin.
Beautiful wife, faithful friend, loving mother and grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Our family would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the nursing staff at the Shuswap General Hospital. Your love and kindness was so deeply appreciated in our greatest time of need.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 25th at the family home.
