Ken passed away peacefully in Salmon Arm, BC after a short illness. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 68 years, Nancy; four children, Rob (Judy), Doug (Joanne), Jan (Robert), Kenna (Brian); 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grand-children.

Ken was born in Brandon, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver in 1937. He worked for 34 years in the Pharmaceutical industry in sales and as sales manager for Western Canada for Lederle Laboratories. He was involved in Power Squadron and a member of the Burrard Yacht Club.

Throughout their married life, Ken and Nancy loved to spend time with their family and friends fishing, boating, camping, traveling and later traveling in their motor home. Ken was a kind and generous man who will always be remembered as one of the last true gentlemen of his age.

No formal service by request, but a family celebration of life will be held in the summer. We wish to thank Dr. Weiker and the staff at Hillside Village for their compassionate care.

Condolences may be sent to leathrop@telus.net. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation,
