Marjorie Virginia Johnny passed away in Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the age of 80 years.

Born in Salmon Arm on December 28, 1936, Marjorie has resided her life in the Shuswap, always keeping a positive outlook and willing to listen and help others.

Predeceased by her parents, Theresa and Alexis Purdaby, husband, George Roy Johnny, son, Merle, daughters, Kim and Ethel, and granddaughter, Robyn.

Marjorie leaves her loving family and caregivers, Marilynn, Bill, Sheila, Pat (Mike Weaver), and Cindy (Ben Oppenheimer), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, as well many nieces and nephews, and her brother in law, Joseph (Caroline) Johnny.

The funeral service will be held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on Wednesday morning, January 25th at 11 a.m. with Jack Bowers the Celebrant. Blessings by Father George LaGrange with brother in law, Joseph Johnny sharing a tribute.

Honorary Pallbearers were: Sandy, Larry, Jeff, Jerry, Zavior, Sheldon, Mike, Ben, Dan, Xxander, Tristen, Bill, Eric, Alex, Jake, Jesse and Ben.

Fire Watchers were Jeff, Terry, Jerry, Lloyd, Stefan, Dwayne, Jimmy and Brian.

Cremation will follow with plans for interment later in the family plot in the Lower Reserve Cemetery, Salmon Arm.
