Melvin Ceaman Brown

“Mel” passed away, with family and friend by his side, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the age of 70 years.

Mel was born in Athabasca, Alberta on March 19, 1947 and had been residing in Enderby for the past 26 years. He had been self employed as a young man and had been involved with various ventures during his lifetime. Mel enjoyed fishing, traveling, and his annual family barbeques and his faithful dog Minnie always at his side.

Mel will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Linda “Myrtle”; three children, Darren (Colleen) Brown of Enderby, Melvin Jr. (Michelle) Brown of Smith, AB and Hazel (Shane) Schneider of Fawcett, AB; grandchildren, Greg, Bradley, Ashley, Kyle, Kellie, Tysen, Bailey and Tucker. Also surviving are three brothers, three sisters, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Mel was predeceased by his granddaughter, Vicky; parents; brother and a sister.

A service will be held August 5, 2017 in Smith, Alberta.
