Nelda Morrison passed away peacefully at the Shuswap General Hospital in Salmon Arm BC at the age of 90. She is survived by her four children Devonna (Joe) Nagy, Sharon (Doug) MacDonnell, Ewart (Nona) Morrison and Marcia (Dave) Nauss as well as 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Nelda was a people person, she would carry on a conversation with anyone, anywhere. She loved meeting and getting to know new people. We would like to express our gratitude to all of Nelda’s friends and neighbours who made life so special and helped her stay in and enjoy her own home for so many extra years. She appreciated every one of you. She is lovingly remembered for her years of kindness, always sharing baking, gardening, vegetable and tomatoes. She is well remembered as a warm, caring and loving lady. She had a cheerful disposition and positive attitude and she will be greatly missed by everyone. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sicamous Senior Citizen Centre, with Pastor Norm Russell officiating.
