Noreen Lorraine Stewart passed away in the loving care of her family at her daughter’s residence in Salmon Arm, BC on Sunday evening, January 10, 2010 at the age of 84 years.

A celebration of life service was held from the chapel of Bowers Funeral Home, Salmon Arm, on Saturday afternoon, January 16th, at 2 p.m. with Jack Bowers, the celebrant.Tributes were shared by family and friends, with a reception following in the Mountainside room, allowing time for all to contine sharing Noreen’s memories.

Cremation with interment to follow at a later date in Mt. Ida Cemetery.

Born in Lashburn, Saskatchewan on January 19, 1925. Noreen was a longtime resident of Surrey, BC before moving to Chase 4 years ago. She is well remembered for her passion for curling and hockey, and most especially, her dedication to her family.

She is the last of a family of six children. Noreen is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ross; daughter, Patti of Salmon Arm, son, Roger (Jennifer) of Nanoose Bay, BC, two grandsons, Drew and Max.
