Born February 13, 1936 in Victoria and passed away July 12, 2008 at Bastion Place after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She is survived by her husband, Phil, children Tony and wife Keri, Ross and wife Judy. Grandchildren: Tori and Tabatha, her sister Betty and brother George.

Sandrina loved the outdoors and was an ardent and renowned naturalists and birdwatcher. She even pretended to like fishing with her husband Phil. Sandrina loved the North Shuswap and was devoted to helping the community. During her lifetime she made many friends, and these friendships she cherished. Sandrina worked as a community health care worker for 22 years and very much enjoyed helping others, always focusing on their best qualities.

The family would like to thank everyone that cared for Sandrina, especially the wonderful staff at Bastion Place.

As was her wish, there will be no funeral service. She will be cremated with her ashes scattered at a predetermined place.
