STACEY TYLER HOBBS

October 7, 1979 - July 4, 2010

On Sunday July 4th 2010 Stacey Hobbs passed away suddenly at 30 years of age.

Stacey was born on October 7th 1979 in Shuswap Lake General Hospital to parents Terry Hobbs and Donald Jackson. He had a love for life and adventure. His passion was dirt biking riding, as well as rock climbing, hunting and fishing.

Living in the Silver Creek Valley, Stacey was able to always get out and ride, never leaving anyone behind.

Stacey was a young energetic individual who made himself available to help others, whether it was by baling hay or fixing a stuck tractor.

In school Stacey received the award for “The Best Story Teller” as he regaled anyone and all with his tales of adventure.

Stacey leaves his loving sisters: Jorden, Kelsey, and Meagan McKnight; his grandmother Amie Eisner grandfather Jady Hobbs; aunts Shelly Hobbs, and Connie (Will) Saunders; uncles Billy, Bruce (Andrea), Murray (Terri), and George (Mavis) Jackson, as well as numerous cousins great-aunts and great-uncles.

Stacey was pre-deceased by his grandparents Margaret and Robert Jackson of Salmon Arm.

Stacey will be sadly missed by all, but his memory will live on with each of us.

A memorial service will be held for Stacey at Bowers Funeral Home on Saturday July 10th 2010 at 2pm, with tea to follow.

Arrangements are in the care of Bowers Funeral Home.
