Stanley Anthony Dukacz passed away at McKinney Place Extended Care, Oliver, BC on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the age of 74 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Salmon Arm on Friday, May 30th at 10:30 am, with Father George LaGrange OMI, celebrant. Interment followed in Mount Ida Cemetery.

Stan was born on April 28, 1934 in Kelliher, Saskatchewan and had resided in Salmon Arm for over 20 years before moving to Oliver in 1991.

Stan was predeceased by his wife, Frieda, in 1989. He will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Joan (John) Turner of Enderby, Sayler (Frank) Hale and Lyle (Renee) Dukacz both of Prince George; grandchildren, Troy, Nadine, Danielle (Brad), Shawn, Amber, Alissa, Jenna and Braden; great grandchildren, Kayden and Adrian. Also surviving are his brother, Andy and sisters, Sister Bernadine, Mary, Ella, Pauline, Bernice and Carol.
