Thomas Gregor passed away in Kelowna General Hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning, April 5, 2008 at the age of 53 years, following a lengthy

battle with kidney failure.

A celebration of life service will be held from the Malakwa Community Hall on Saturday, April 12th at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Strutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Malakwa Cemetery.

Born in Stockdorf, Germany on April 27, 1954, Thomas has been an active resident of the Malakwa area for the past 30 years. He loved the outdoors and the mountains, which created employment for him and mission trips working in the mountains of far off countries. He is well remembered for his time at the Malakwa Cafe, which always sparked an active discussion and debate. Flowers were a joy for Thomas which was clearly visible with his many flower gardens.

Predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth and his parents, Norbert and Frieda, Thomas leaves his loving daughter, Becky (Stafane) Rocque of Coronation, AB, her mother, Brenda Gregor of Castor, Alberta; three precious grandsons, Damyen, Zarkary and Shayden; sisters and brothers, Christa, Klara, Margaret, Barbara, Ursula, Klaus and Benno; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, locally and around the world.
