William George “Bill” Peerless passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness from cancer, at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm, BC, on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the age of 74 years.

Bill was born at Chemainus, BC on July 9, 1933 and had been involved with dairy farming in Malakwa since 1966.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne; eight children, Kathy (Bob) Sellers of Prince George, Carol Peerless of Canmore, AB, Bob Peerless of Kamloops, Marian (Brad) Brown of Kamloops, Dennis (Lynn) Peerless of Terrace, Denise (Pete) Reink of Prince George, Pam (Bill) Honeyman of Malakwa and Sarah Peerless of Vancouver; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Nancy (Ivan) Graham of Revelstoke and Marge Shelley of Enderby. Bill was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra in 1997.

The funeral service was held from the Malakwa Community Hall on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Lawrence Rae officiating. Tributes were shared by Sarah Peerless and Denise Reink and musicians were Misty Honeyman on flute and Linda Samland on piano.

Interment of his cremated remains will follow at a later date in the family plot in the Malakwa Community Cemetery.
